You are based in Austria or Switzerland
Then you can use MetronHR. You set your country, plus the region or the canton, and the public holiday calendar fits. Anyone who does not want one switches it off. You set the time zone and the display currency yourself as well. Hosting is in Germany and billing is in euros. Payroll is not part of it.
What you set, and what follows from it
Four settings, made once while setting up and changeable at any time. Everything else in MetronHR looks the same in Vienna, Zurich and Hanover.

MetronHR is built for German small and medium businesses, and the product language follows that. Anyone coming from Austria or Switzerland gets the same software, with no separate price list and no separate address, but also with no promise about the law of their own country.

What we are asked most often about it.
Yes. Registration, the 14-day trial and the full range of features are open, wherever your business is based. MetronHR is not a separate country product in the process: there is one interface, one price list and one hosting location, and the country is a setting within it.
For Austria there is a template that applies nationwide. For Switzerland you choose the canton, and MetronHR sets the days that apply across that canton. In Aargau, Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Solothurn there are additional days that apply only in individual districts or municipalities; those are deliberately not in the template and are added as entries of your own.
Both. Alongside your country's template there is a list of your own, where only what you enter counts, and a setting with no public holiday calendar at all. MetronHR then counts every weekday as a working day, and nobody has to maintain a list that plays no part in the business.
No, and they are not shown to you either. References to the German Working Hours Act, the Federal Holiday Act and the tax-free premiums appear only when the country is set to Germany. The limits for the day, the week and the rest period stay configurable, and MetronHR then applies them to your specifications without presenting them as the legal position.
You set the time zone and the display currency per business. When the country changes, MetronHR proposes the matching values, and they are applied only once confirmed. We invoice the subscription in euros, at the price of the one price list.
Payroll, collective agreements, industry-wide agreements and withholding tax. That is a decision, not a backlog: MetronHR records hours, plans duties and keeps the personnel file, and the payroll stays with your tax adviser or trustee.
