How It Works

Three steps, no conditions in the small print.

  1. Step1

    Copy the link

    In the dashboard under Billing you will find your personal referral link. Copy it, share it by email or WhatsApp, done.

  2. Step2

    The referred company tries it out

    Anyone who comes through your link tries MetronHR free for 14 days and sees the referral discount in the basket as they buy.

  3. Step3

    First invoice, discount for both

    As soon as the referred company's first invoice is paid, you both get 3 months at 50% off. On an annual subscription it is 25% off the first annual invoice.

The terms

The discount applies to the referrer and to the referred company alike.

  • Monthly subscription: 3 months at 50% off the subscription, for both sides.
  • Annual subscription: 25% off the first annual invoice.
  • Qualified with the first paid invoice of the referred company.
  • No upper limit: Several discounts queue up and become active one after the other.

While the Metron Release Special 2026 runs

Exactly one discount applies per subscription. Until31.12.2026 the referred company therefore gets the larger promotional discount instead of the referral discount: 50 % on the first6 months, or30 % in the first year. Your own referral bonus stays as it is.

Promotion terms

Example

You use MetronHR with 12 people on the Team plan (60 € a month) and refer a practice you know. They start with 8 people and pay their first invoice. For three months you pay 30 € instead of 60 €, and the practice pays 20 € instead of 40 €.

Frequent questions about the referral programme

Answered briefly, before you share the link.

As often as you like. Every successful referral brings its own discount. If a referral discount is already running for you, the next one waits in line and becomes active as soon as the current one has expired.

When the referred company has registered through your link and its first invoice has been paid. A trial alone is not enough; only the paid start counts.

The same discount as you: 3 months at 50% off the monthly subscription, or 25% off the first annual invoice. The discount appears in the basket before anything is paid.

Not at the moment. The referral link belongs to a MetronHR account. A partner programme for accountants, agencies and blogs without an account of their own is in preparation; write to us if that describes you.

If the first invoice is refunded, the referral is cancelled and the discount falls away for both of you. If the company cancels later, the discount you have already activated stays.
