Temporary work and staffing services

Assignment hours per hirer, documented and provable

In temporary agency work the hirer records the start, the end and the duration, by the seventh calendar day at the latest. You need the same figures for invoicing and for reconciliation.

  • Hours kept apart per hirer and assignment
  • Records retrievable in German at any time
  • An export per client and month for the invoice

In short

Under section 17c AÜG the hirer keeps the records, but you have to invoice. Times separated per hirer, documents in German held in Germany.

Two sides have to hold the same hours

Under § 17c (1) AÜG the hirer records the start, the end and the duration of your temporary workers' daily working time. If your hours account differs, it only shows up at invoicing.

Problem

The record sits with the hirer

Under § 17c (1) AÜG the hirer records the start, the end and the duration, but you are the one who has to invoice and prove it.

Problem

The seven-day deadline applies here too

The record has to exist by the end of the seventh calendar day after the work. Adding entries at the month end is too late.

Problem

The records have to be to hand

The agency keeps the inspection records in German within Germany, and at the place of work on request (§ 17c (2) AÜG).

Solution

An hours account that matches the hirer's

Every assignment runs as its own client with its own hours. Your people book on a phone, you see target and actual per person, and you export the hours per hirer and month.

Result

Hours per hirer, on the record

The start, the end and the duration are on file per person and assignment, ready when the hirer or an inspection asks.

From the assignment to the invoice

Three steps that put the hours per hirer on the record.

Step1

Assign people to the assignment

Every hirer is created as a client and every assignment as a project under it. Your people see only their own assignments.

The hours are kept apart per hirer from the start.

Step2

Book the start, the end and the break

Recording on a phone or in the browser, even without a signal. The scheduler adds entries for people who do not book themselves.

The same three figures the hirer records.

Frequent questions from temporary work

The recording duty, the deadlines and reconciling with the hirer, answered briefly.

Under § 17c (1) AÜG the hirer records the start, the end and the duration of the daily working time, by the end of the seventh calendar day afterwards at the latest, kept for at least two years. But you as the agency have to invoice and evidence it, which is why you need the same figures.

Under § 17c (2) AÜG the inspection records have to be available in German within Germany, and at the place of work on request. MetronHR runs on German servers, the reports are in German and they can be retrieved from any device.

Yes. Every hirer is created as a client and every assignment as a project under it. In the report you filter by hirer, assignment, person and period and download the result as Excel or CSV.

Anyone leading a department or with people under them can create time entries for them. So the scheduler enters for people out on assignment. Management may record for everybody.

No. People see their own hours and assignments. Who has access to anything further you control through roles and departments, which stays clean even with changing hirers.

Billing is per user per month: Team 5 €, Professional 10 €. Time tracking with customer assignment, absences, overtime, working-time models and Excel/CSV export are included in the Team plan; analytics, the personnel file and the change history of time entries are part of Professional.
