- An hours record as a PDF to countersign
Two hirers, two sheets, one working day: neither of them sees the twelve hours.
With MetronHR temporary workers clock in via the app at the place of work, and the record exists on the same day. The hours are collected per client, and at month end the payroll file goes to the accountant.

Send us a messageWho records working time in temporary work?
The hirer, as long as a minimum pay rate under section 3a AUeG applies: start, end and duration by the end of the seventh calendar day, kept for two years (section 17c(1) AUeG). The seventh minimum pay ordinance has applied since 1 July 2026, until 30 September 2027. The agency keeps the documents available in Germany and in German (section 17c(2)).
What applies if someone works for two hirers on one day?
The daily limit and the rest period apply to the total. Eight hours in the warehouse and four hours of trade fair set-up in the evening make twelve hours, above the limit of ten (section 3 ArbZG). The template flags exactly this case in the example.
How long may an assignment with the same hirer last?
At most 18 consecutive months. Earlier assignments count if the gap between them is at most three months (section 1(1b) AUeG). Collective agreements of the hirer's industry can deviate.
