A checklist reminds nobody. A workflow does.
Excel checklists work for the first new employee and are forgotten by the third. MetronHR turns the onboarding plan into a reusable workflow: tasks are assigned automatically, owners are reminded, and the status per employee is documented with editor and timestamp and linked to the personnel file.

Frequently asked questions
Answers on usage and legal aspects.
In care facilities, proof of measles vaccination or immunity under section 20 (9) of the Infection Protection Act, usually an extended criminal record certificate, and the professional licence for registered nurses. Anyone handling food additionally needs the instruction under section 43 IfSG.
The Medical Devices Operator Ordinance requires employees to be instructed in the proper handling of a medical device before first use. The instruction must be documented. The plan therefore lists it as a task of its own in week 1.
The plan is designed for 90 days and therefore covers the usual probation period. The supervised shifts fall in week 1, the first independent handover of an area after about two weeks, and the supervised night shift after three weeks. That can be shifted depending on prior experience.
