When Excel reaches its limits

Whoever closes in the evening does not open the next morning. Plans often say so anyway.

MetronHR checks rest and maximum hours while you plan, in the Professional plan, and shows who holds the qualification for a class. People clock in at the terminal at the front desk or in the app.

May gyms schedule staff on Sundays?

Yes. Section 10(1) no. 7 ArbZG allows Sunday work in sport and leisure facilities. At least 15 Sundays a year stay free, and every Sunday worked brings a replacement rest day within two weeks (section 11 ArbZG).

How early must the roster for mini-jobbers be fixed?

If the timing of working time is not fixed in the contract, it is work on call: the times have to be announced at least four days in advance (section 12 TzBfG). For mini-jobbers, start, end and duration also have to be recorded within seven days (section 17 MiLoG).

Late duty until 10:30 pm, then early duty at 6:30 am: is that allowed?

No. That is eight hours, and the rest period under section 5(1) ArbZG requires eleven. Gyms have no exception for a shorter rest. The template flags exactly this change in the example.
