Ready to use, with formulas, sample data and a legend.
- A "Recorded on" column flagged once the seven days have passed
- Hours per site in the month on a sheet of its own
- A daily check across all entries: ten hours, breaks, rest
- Jobs past midnight with the date of the start
- A PDF with signature fields for employee and employer
When does the template fit?
Ideal as an interim solution or for small teams, with clear limits.
- Construction firms and crews on changing sites
- Proof towards customs during inspections
- A paper timesheet as a PDF for the site
Tuesday's sheet is still in the van on Friday of the following week.
With MetronHR the crew clocks in via the app on site, the record exists on the same day and stays available for two years. The hours per site go into the monthly summary and to the accountant as a payroll file without retyping.

Send us a messageBy when must working hours in construction be recorded?
By the end of the seventh calendar day after the working day (section 17(1) MiLoG). Construction is listed in section 2a(1) no. 1 SchwarzArbG, so the duty applies to all employees, not only mini-jobbers. Records are kept for two years.
Is the drive to the site working time?
From the yard where material or the crew is collected, yes. The drive from home to a fixed site is usually the commute.
What has to be carried on site?
An identity card, passport or substitute document, shown to customs on request (section 2a SchwarzArbG). The employer points this out in writing.
