What is in the template?

Ready to use, with formulas, sample data and a legend.

  • Two jobs per day in one row, hours added up
  • Rest from the end of the evening job until the next morning
  • The gap between the jobs counts as a break
  • Example shifts: early before offices open, daytime, evening, early and evening
  • Notes on section 17 MiLoG and the industry minimum wage

When does the template fit?

Ideal as an interim solution or for small teams, with clear limits.

  • Maintenance cleaning in offices and practices
  • Teams with part-time staff and mini-jobs at several sites
  • A job plan as a PDF for the site manager
When Excel reaches its limits

Evenings until 11 pm, mornings from 5: six hours of rest do not show in the plan.

MetronHR checks rest and maximum hours while you plan, in the Professional plan, and records the time per site via the app. The record under section 17 MiLoG is made when people clock in, not at month end.

Can early and evening jobs run every day?

Not on two days in a row. The rest only starts after the evening job: ending at 9 pm and starting at 5 am leaves eight hours, short of the eleven in section 5(1) ArbZG. Alternating with a daytime job from 9 am works.

What applies to recording in building cleaning?

Building cleaning is listed in section 2a SchwarzArbG. The start, end and duration of daily working time of all employees have to be recorded by the end of the seventh calendar day and kept for two years (section 17 MiLoG). For the industry minimum wage, section 19 AEntG applies as well.

Does travel between two sites count as working time?

Yes, travelling from one job to the next on the employer's behalf is working time. The way from home to the first site is usually the commute where the place of work is fixed.
